What is a VaserLipo?

At Laragh Medical, LipoSelection using Vaser is an advanced surgical method designed to eliminate unwanted fat deposits from specific body areas, including the face, neck, upper arms, upper and lower back, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, calves, and ankles.

It’s important to note that this procedure is not a weight loss solution but rather a technique for targeting and removing localized fat deposits. LipoSelection by Vaser can be performed as a standalone body contouring procedure or in conjunction with other surgical methods.

Ideal candidates for this procedure are generally those of a relatively normal weight who have excess fat in certain areas. Individuals with firm, elastic skin tend to achieve the best outcomes, as the skin more effectively adapts to the body’s new contours post-procedure. It’s worth mentioning that LipoSelection by Vaser does not address cellulite or improve areas with dimpled skin.

Additionally, skin that has lost elasticity due to factors like stretch marks, significant weight loss, ageing, or environmental damage may not conform as well to the body’s new shape and might require further surgical interventions to remove and tighten excess skin. This technique does not correct body contour irregularities caused by structures other than fat.
